1 Ticehurst Road in Lyeltton consisted of the retrofit of the oldest remaining house in Lyttelton.
Seismic retrofit to both the foundations and the building superstructure was achieved using modern construction techniques while maintaining the maximum retention of the existing heritage fabric and allowing a fully compliant subfloor ventilation system where bearers where placed directly on the soil previously.
